Effect of school administrators on teachers motivation in secondary education institutions

This study aims to measure the effect of school administrators? attitudes and behaviours on teachers? motivation in secondary schools. Scholl administrators may reduce or increase the motivation of teachers? depending on their leadership attitudes, therefore behavioural patterns of school administrators is an important factor for teachers? motivation. This research is a screening model, depending on a survey which was formed after reference research and screening of previous literatures and reports and receiving expert opinions about the effect of the application of attitudes and behaviours of school management on teachers, effects on their professional perspectives, and their engagement to their institutes. The research composed by an independent universe and also contains an independently selected sample from that universe. In order to determine the effect of secondary education institutes school administrators? on teachers? motivation of working in secondary education institutions; teachers from the city centre of Yalova have been randomly chosen. This population selected by random sampling method and 234 teachers were included in the sampling group. This research consists of six chapters. Which are ;(I) Introduction,(II) Theoretical information and review of the literature, (III) The research method, (IV) Results, (V) Conclusions and discussions, (VI) Suggestions. After statistical analyses of the data, results with p value under 0.05 considered statistically significant and the results are shown in the tables.
