Özet (EN)

The main purpose of this research is to examine the 21st century skill levels of high school seniors in terms of various variables. The population of the research consists of 5722 senior secondary school students studying in the city center of Batman in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 378 senior students studying at Science, Anatolian, Imam Hatip and Vocational High Schools determined by simple random sampling method. Students answered the data collection tool online. In this study, general review model which is a quantitative research model and causal-comparative design were used in the study. In the research, "Personal Information Form" and "Multidimensional 21st Century Skills Scale" consisting of 5 sub-dimensions (Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills, Information and Technology Literacy Skills, Social Responsibility and Leadership Skills, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Skills and Career Consciousness) were used as data collection tool. SPSS statistical software was used for the analysis of the data obtained in the research. Percentage, standard deviation, t-test, variance analysis (ANOVA), Levene's test, Mann Whitney-U test and Kruskal Wallis-H test were used in the analysis and interpretation of the data collected through the scale. According to the results of the research, it has been observed that there is a no significant difference between the 21st century skill levels of the students in terms of gender and school type variables.
