Learner achievement effect of the multiple intelligences theory based teaching in reading skills at the upper secondary school education

In this study, it is aimed to consider learner achievement effect of the multiple intelligences theory based teaching in reading skills at the upper secondary school education in Iskenderun Antolian High School.The study was done in National Education Ministery Iskenderun Anatolion High School in Hatay for 2,5 months. There are 58 students in total, 29 student in control grup and 29 student in testing grup.In testing grup reading skills lessons were supported by multiple intelligence and in control grup lessons were in traditional method 2 hours per a week for 10 months.Students were tested before and after the study by the achievement tests. For data collection achievement and attitude scale were used. The progress of the grups was compared at the end ot the studyThere is a meaningful difference between achievement of grups at the end ot the study. Education supported by multiple inteligence was more successful then the education supported in traditonal method
