Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the processes of creating multiplier and multiplier knowledge of 6th grade students in a designed learning environment with the RBC + C abstraction model. The working group consists of ten sixth grade students studying in a public secondary school. The process of creating knowledge was examined through the method of teaching experiments, which is based on the interpretive approach, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Students' processes of reaching multiplier and multiplier information were evaluated the cognitive action steps of recognizing, using and creating. In the reinforcement phase was not included students at secondary school level because they were not considered cognitively appropriate. As a data collection tool, the application test was prepared by researchers as part of each action step. As a result of the study, it was observed that students structured the concepts of multipliers and multiples at the end of the activity. Keywords: Multiplier, Multiples, Dividing, RBC+C Model
