Abstract (EN)

In this study, to determine the obstacles that students having training at secondary school level, teachers lecturing at secondary school level and parents having children at this level encounter, and suggestions for defined barriers are aimed. The data of the research has been acquired by the opinions of students at 5th, 6th, 8th grade and students' parents defined randomly in Akpınar Secondary School, Akpınar, Kırşehir and randomized secondary school teachers in Kırşehir in 2014-2015 school year. In order to find answer to the sub problems in the research, semi-structured interview form was conducted as data collecting tool to the participants to make them answer in an open ended way to the obstacles in the mathematics learning process and suggestions. Content analysis method was used to analyze data. In this frame, to describe the data and to reveal possible hidden facts in data were aimed. The research's data was analyzed by following the steps; coding data, finding themes, arranging codes and themes, defining findings and commenting on findings. According to the research, the students assume themselves barrier to mathematics learning process and it can be said that they wait for the solutions from the teachers.
