Abstract (EN)
The narrative is the expression of the event or phenomenon, which has a cause and effect relationship, by a narrator in written or oral language. In order for a discourse to have a narrative character, a story must exist in the discourse. The story in the discourse meets the audience or the reader with the presence of the narrator. Narrative texts are a form of written expression of the oral narrative. The narrator's position relative to the text can be determined when creating the narrative texts. Typological determination principles are used in this determination. The aim of this study is to explain the narrative type of texts written by middle school students in the context of the text type variable; to analyze the narrative level according to the principles of typology determined as the degree of view-perception and the extent of participation in the story and to explain the relationship of the texts mentioned with the text types determined in the Turkish Curriculum according to their grade levels. In this study, the document analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods has been used. The texts created by the students were classified in the context of the text type and the grade level, and the narrator typology of the texts was determined based on Yavuz Demir's seviy Narrators Typology metin analysis method. The findings of the study were interpreted in terms of the literature. As a result, it is seen that students do not use the text types that are supposed to be acquired according to the program in their own written texts and they focus on certain types of text at each class level. In this context, it is determined that the typology of narrators vary depending on the text type and class level.
