Abstract (EN)

Advanced technology and the information pollution that comes with it includes many problems. The most effective and psychological kind of these dangers is internet addiction. Internet addiction has been a threat for many age groups, especially for the young population. This research aims to explain the internet addiction levels of secondary school students with specific variants. The research examines secondary school students in private concept. Because the development of addiction level of the students at this age group is more effectual. Because of this reason, internet addiction should be prevented during this period. In this frame, the research has been applied to randomly chosen 260 students and examined with 260 usable polls. The resulting data have been analyzed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 21.0. While evaluating the data, descriptive statistical techniques (Number, Percentage, Average, Standard Deviation) have been used. While comparing quantitive data, to determine if there were a statistical difference between the two groups, t-test was used; and to compare intergroup parameters with more then two groups, Oneway Anova test was used. The relation between the dependent and independent variants of the research was tested with Pearson correlation; and the effect was tested with regression analysis. The results have been evaluated at the %95 confidence interval and %5 significance level.
