Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the personality traits of secondary school students and their predispositions to physical education and sports lessons. In this study, the evaluation of the relationship between secondary school students' predisposition to physical education and sports lessons and their personality traits was carried out with the cross-sectional survey model, which is one of the quantitative research models. The population of this research consists of a total of 4271 students in secondary schools in the Diyadin district of Ağrı. The convenient sampling method, one of the non-random sampling methods, was used in the study. In order to determine the number of the sample in the study, the number of population of 4271, which is the main mass, was calculated with 5% error rate and 95% confidence interval, and a total of 353 people represented the sample number. However, in the research, a total of 392 people were reached and defined as the universe of the research. In the process of analyzing the data, firstly, the normality analysis for the data was performed. While parametric tests were applied to the data showing normal distribution, non-parametric tests were applied to the data that did not show normal distribution. As a result; It can be mentioned that there is a moderately positive and significant relationship between the physical education and sports course predispositions of secondary school students and their personality traits.
