Özet (EN)
This study aimed to examine secondary school students' use of digital technology in the mathematics learning process and their mathematical literacy self-efficacy levels. The relational screening model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. The research was conducted in the 2022-2023 academic year with 584 secondary school students studying in five different public secondary schools in Erbaa district of Tokat province and who agreed to fill out the data collection tool voluntarily. In the study, "Digital Technology Use in the Mathematics Learning Process Scale" was used to measure students' use of digital technology in the mathematics learning process, and "Middle School Mathematics Literacy Self-Efficacy Scale" was used to measure their mathematical literacy self-efficacy. The reliability coefficient of the "Use of Digital Technology in the Mathematics Learning Process" Scale that we used in our research is 0.885, and the reliability coefficient of the "Secondary School Mathematics Literacy Self-Efficacy" Scale is 0.925. In the research, statistics regarding these scales and demographic information of the participants were obtained, and the relationships between the variables were taken into account. In the study, the "mathematics literacy self-efficacy" of secondary school students was at a medium level, there was no significant difference when evaluated according to gender and grade variables, there was a statistically significant difference according to the mother's education level variable, and this difference was in favor of mothers with high school, associate and bachelor's degree education. It was observed that there was a statistically significant difference according to the father's education variable, and this difference was in favor of fathers with associate, undergraduate and graduate education levels. It was observed that the level of "digital technology use in the mathematics learning process" of secondary school students was at a medium level, and there was no significant difference when evaluated according to gender, grade, mother's education level, father's education level. In addition, according to the findings, there is a positive and moderately significant relationship between the level of "digital technology use in the mathematics learning process" and mathematics literacy self-efficacy levels of secondary school students and the "mathematics literacy self-efficacy" of secondary school students and their "use of digital technology in the mathematics learning process". It has been found to predict.
