Abstract (EN)

With this research, it is aimed to examirese candary school students reading comprehension lives in terms of various veriables and these are achopplied in Erzincan province, Tercan districtand on students who educated in 7 schools in the village. 157 of these student sare 7th grade and 169 of these student sare 8th grade, in totaly there asearch is opplied to326 student sand 12 Turkish-language, tearchers.İt is wedreatioral screening model and reasearch. İn the collections of data, it is opplied personalin formation form, survey andachievement test to student sand face to face interwiews teachers. Frequency values, standard deviations and arithmetic mean of the data were calculated. Independent group t-test, One-way ANOVA; Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H test were used. Tukey test was used to determine the groups with significant differences in one-way ANOVA tests, and Mann Whitney U test was used to determine the groups with significant differences in Kruskal Wallis H tests. The significance of the data was determined on the basis of .05. As a result of the study, significant differences were found between the variables such as gender, school, classroom, primary school place of residence, change of class teacher in elementary school, and the level of students' reading comprehension. However, significant differences were not found between the variables such as mother education, father's educational status and students' level of reading comprehension.Most of teachers think that students reanding comprehension levelisn'ten oughand it is determined that teachers make different activities to get better reading comprehension level.
