Self-efficacy perceptions of secondary school students towards Turkish language course

The study was designed as a quantitative study consisted of six main sections including; Introduction, Method, Conceptual/Theoretical Explanations, Method, Findings, Results, and Discussion. The study investigated secondary school students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course in terms of the variables: gender, place of residence, number of books read by students, the use of social media, Turkish Language Course final grade, class level variables. The study provided the findings given below. The first sub-problem investigated whether students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course showed significant differences according to the gender variable. As a result, the study findings revealed that secondary school students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course showed a significant difference according to the gender variable.The second sub-problem investigated whether there was a significant difference between secondary school students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course in terms of the place of residence variable. The findings identified that secondary school students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course showed significant differences according to the place of residence variable. The third sub-problem investigated whether there was a significant relationship between secondary school students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course in terms of the number of books read by students variable. The study findings determined that there was a significant relationship between students' self-efficacy perceptions and the number of books they read.The fourth sub-problem investigated whether there was a significant difference between investigated whether secondary school students' self-efficacy perceptions towards Turkish Language Course and Turkish Language Course final grades.
