Abstract (EN)

Today, the individuals that educational systems are in need of and target to develop are creative people. It is intended to find out these people at an early age as to enable them think creatively and develop their creative abilities. Because of this reason, it is required to define creative people in the first years of education and to develop their thinking abilities and creativity levels. This study was conducted to determine secondary school students' the level of scientific creativity, general creativity and attitudes to science. In this study, relationships between scientific creativity, general creativity and attitudes to science where investigated. In addition relationships between scientific creativity, general creativity and attitudes to science, and socio-demographic, and socio-economics factors where examined. This research is based on relational research model. It is a model used to determine relationships between variables and predict possible outcomes. The relationship between two or more variables is measured using statistical tests. The universe of the study consists of seventh grade students studying in the Middle Black Sea region. The sample of the study consisted of 300 students attending 7. grade selected from volunteers student in secondary schools selected from Amasya and Tokat. The scientific creativity, general creativity and science attitude scale, were used collections of the experimental data. In addition, demographic information form was used for the collection of the students' data. In this research, general creativity and science attitude levels of the students were measured and it was observed that the students' scores from the science attitude scale and the scores from the general creativity scale were related to each other. It was revealed that the general creativity of the students with high science attitudes was high and there was an interaction between them. Scientific creativity and science attitudes of students were measured and it was observed that the scores obtained from the science attitude scale and the scores obtained from the scientific creativity scale were correlated with each other. The scientific creativity of the students with high science attitudes is high and it is revealed that there is an interaction between them. In this research, scientific creativity and general creativity levels of the students were measured and it was observed that the scores obtained from the general creativity scale and the scores obtained from the scientific creativity scale were related to each other. It was found out that the scientific creativity of the students with high levels of general creativity is high and there is an interaction between them. In this research, the relationships between the general creativity, scientific creativity, and attitudes to science of students and their socio-demographic and socio-economics factors were examined and it was observed that the scores obtained where correlated.
