Abstract (EN)

In order to improve the quality of life while continuing its existence, human beings must recognize the characteristics of their era and adapt to these characteristics. The most important feature of the 21st century is the rapid development of technology. With the developing technology, digital devices that dominate every area of life have become indispensable in our lives. Therefore, our era can be called the digital age in terms of these features. In order to keep up with this age, people need to develop their skills in using digital devices. The development of these skills depends on determining the level of digital literacy and conducting studies on it. After the Covid 19 pandemic that has recently affected the whole world, digitalization has been carried out in many areas and this process has increased the importance of digital literacy. Especially in the field of education, digitalization requires teachers, students and even parents to adapt to the process. This project aims to determine the digital literacy levels of teachers who actively participate in distance education. For this purpose, a research was conducted to determine the digital literacy level of secondary school teachers in the Tuşba district center of Van province and the survey technique, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. In the applied survey, explanatory factor analysis was first conducted with the IBM SPPS 22 program for data analysis, and then confirmatory factor analysis was conducted using the IBM AMOS 21 program. When the result was evaluated in general, it was determined that teachers' digital literacy levels were often high. The findings of the research provide important data for policy makers, decision makers and school administrators.
