Abstract (EN)

This study was done to determine the secondary school teachers' attitude about the alternative assessments and measurements, their knowledge about those tecniques and to present suggenstions for those subjects. The sample of this study covers branch teachers who are teaching at 14 secondary school in the province of Manisa, town; Demirci. In the process of collecting of the data after the examination of the related literature with the topic, a questionare was carried out the determine the ideas of 93 teachers working at the secondary schools of villages and central town of Demirci, Manisa. In the first section, teachers taking part in that poll were asked about their gender, experience in their fields, their branches and universities from which they were graduated. In the second section, consisting of 11 questions which are about the alternative assessments and measurements were used. These questions are also among those ÖSYM used in the exam of pedagogics, KPSS. In the third section, the attitude scale was used related to alternative assessments and measurements. The data, obtained in the end of this study evaluated using SPSS 21 statistical packed programme. As a result of statistical analysis made, it was observed that eve though second school teachers' attitudes towards alternative assessments and measurements were high, their knowledge about it was not so high.
