Analysis of relationship between alogical beliefs of final year secondary school students with their decision making behavior

This research was conducted in order to analyze the relationship between alogical beliefs of final year secondary schools students with their decision making behavior. 550 secondary school students at 2014-2015 academic year in Fatih county, İstanbul formed the sample of the research.As data collection tool, "Personal Information Form", "Personal Belief Scale for Teenagers" and "Decision Making Scale in Teenagers" were used. Data collected within the scope of research were analyzed through IBM SPSS 21 Statistics package program. In the evaluation of the analysis, p≤.05 was accepted as p value significance level.In the research, the relationships between decision making, self-respect, cautious pickiness, recklessness, panic, escaping from responsibility which are sub-scale domains of decision making and success demand, comfort demand, respect demand which are sub-scale domains of personal beliefs were tested. Consequently, whereas no meaningful correlation between respect demand, comfort demand and panic was found, meaningful correlations were found among other domains in all analyses.
