Abstract (EN)

The general objective of this study is to determine the values taking place in the curriculum of secondary school acquisition level and the incidence of students? misbehaviors who are the targeted group in this study. Depending on the overall goal of this study, it has been tried to seek answers to the following up? objectives. 1. At what level are the teachers? opinions about the acquisition level of the values that are present at secondary education programmers? 2. As regards to the values in the curriculum of secondary school acquisition level among the teachers? opinions, is there a significant difference according to the following variables; a) gender b) branch c) seniority and d) the type of the school that working ? 3. How are the opinions of the teachers regarding to the incidence of the students? misbehaviors? 4. As regards to the incidence of the students? misbehaviors among the views of the teachers, is there a significant difference according to the following variables; a) gender b) branch c) seniority and d) the type of the school that working ? 5. What is the level of the relationship between the values in the curriculum of secondary acquisition level and the incidence of the students? misbehaviors?This study has been carried out by using one of the descriptive research models: Integrated research scanning model and the scope of the study covered 1450 teachers working in 56 schools ( 51 official, 5 private) in the city centre of Batman in 2012-2013 Education and Teaching year. The sample of the study has been made up with 590 teachers (545 official schools, 45 private schools) working in 34 schools ( 30 official, 4 private schools) who are chosen by using simple random sampling model. In the qualitative dimension of the research, criterion sample survey is used and this has been attained through the application of 172 teacher interview forms. In analyzing the quantitive data; Medial, Standard Deviation, Detached Groups t-test Mann-Whitney U-test and One-Way Variance Analysis have been applied. For the nonparametric significant, Mann-Whitney U-test has been applied. In the analysis of the qualitative data, content analysis method has been used. The following results have been obtained from the analysis of the data: Based on the opinions of the teachers who involved in this study , values in the curriculum of secondary school; values in dimensions of ?Interpersonal Relations?, `National Values?, ?Universal Values? and ?Autonomy? have been acquired at ?Partially Sufficient? level. Among the teachers? opinions referring to the acquisition level of the values in secondary schools according to the school variables, It has been proved that there is a significant difference in favour of the teachers working in private schools but according to gender, seniority and branch variables, there is not a significant difference. According to the teachers involved in this study, the incidence of the students? misbehaviors ; behaviors that frequently appeared in dimensions of ?Interpersonal Relations?, ?Out Class Behaviors?, ?Mischievous behaviors? have been occurred at ?Sometimes?? level. Among the teachers? opinions referring to the incidence of the students? misbehaviors according to the school variables, It has been proved that there is a significant difference in favour of the teachers working in private schools. According to gender variable, there is a significant difference is in the favour of the male teachers. According to seniority period, in dimensions of ?Interpersonal relations?? and `?Mischievous behaviors?? there is a significant difference between the teachers who has 1-5 seniority years and 11-15 seniority years among the teachers? opinions about the incidence of the students? misbehaviors. This difference in favour of the teachers who has 11-15 seniority years. According to the incidence of the students? misbehaviors; according to branch variable, there is not a significant difference among the teachers? opinions. When results are evaluated as a whole, there seems to be a significantly negative relationship between the acquisition level of the values in secondary schools and the incidence of the students? misbehaviors.
