Abstract (EN)
Evaluation of the 'supporting and upbringing course' which is applied in middle schools within the context of mathematics. This study aimed detecting of the perspective and suggestions of the participant students, managers and teachers about 'supporting and upbringing course' to evaluate in the context of Mathematics. Besides that, the relation between the averages of school Maths and the TEOG Maths in the years of 2014-2018 was examined. The study group is consist of 9 govermental middle school and 25 maths teachers that are working in those schools, 15 managers and 144 students.In this study all the participants are volunteers. In this study which is the sample of mix pattern, the data was analyzed by using the content analysis method. In the qualitive part of the study, to get the student opinion, the survey was used which was prepared by the researcher and to get the teacher opinion, semi constructed interview form was used as a data collector. In the quantitive part of the study, data is taken from National Education Management with permission. The student and teacher opinions were seperated as themes and codes and analyzed by using content analysis method. While analyzing the data, SPSS-22 package program was used. Meaningfulness levels are given under each analysis. In the result of the study, it was seen that students and teachers has generally positive opionions. Students want more enjoyable and up to data content in the lessons. Furthermore they want arrengements in course time. Students generally states that: course provides repetition of topics, increases the participation, self confidence and exam grades. Teachers points out that, the course provide them economical, academical and social benefits. Furthermore it was identified that Maths courses benefits yhe motivation, scholarship exam, academical success and the TEOG maths success along the years. At this point, if we examine more avarages of more schools, we can get more efficient results. The problems in the Maths courses were examined in different dimensions like student, teacher, manager, material, custodian and program. The biggest problems are the fatigue, carelessness, discontinuity, the deprivation of new system resources timing problems and attending by family force. According to teacher opinions the course materials should be provided, the timing should be arrenged carrefully, students should be tought about importance of the course and students should attend the courses voluntarity. In thought that, the results of the study will be directive for teachers, managers and custodians to execute the course efficiently and get rid of the defects.
