The Human philosophy of Ortega Y Gasset

This study brings to light The Human Philosophy of Jose Ortega y Gasset. Meanwhile epistemology, history and state philosophy of Ortega were referred shortly. The titles of chapters followed the line which is required by the philosophy of Ortega. In this study which was made under the title of The Human Philosophy of Ortega y Gasset, at the same time, the philosophy of Ortega was systematized. In the entrance chapter, the life of Ortega y Gasset and his position on the existentialism philosophy were explained. In the result chapter, the philosophy of Ortega was criticised and large summary of his philosophy was placed. References in the bibliography are only the references of using this study. The particular concepts which were mentioned in the Ortega's philosophy are reason vital, radical reality, perspectivism, loneliness, pragmata or perception with interpretation, the mass man and intellectual minority. Ortega tried to establish his philosophy under existantialism. At the same time he was pragmatist. Because of being politician besides philosopher, he thought 'human' and 'state' together. His motive that suports his philosophy was Spanish patriotism.
