Abstract (EN)
In this study, we aimed to compare the effects of propofol-isoflurane and propofol-sevoflurane anesthesia on hematological, biochemical and physiological parameters in orthopedic surgery patients group which are frequently used in veterinary medicine. The study material consisted of 30 dogs from different breeds and sexes for which anesthesia should be taken for various purposes. Dogs were randomly divided into 2 groups as 15 patients in each group, and different anesthetic protocols were applied. Blood samples were taken at the 15, 30, 45 and 60th minutes of the anesthesia and 60 minutes after the anesthesia for the preanesthetic period. Serum ALT, AST, urea, creatinine values, preanesthesia, anesthesia was measured at 30 minutes and the anesthesia was measured at 60 minutes. Cardiopulmonary parameters assessed before anesthesia were recorded at the perianesthetic, 15, 30, 45, 60th minute and 60 minutes after the patient was awake. Patients were monitored during anesthesia. After induction of anesthesia with propofol in both groups was achieved, group 1 continued with isoflurane anesthesia and group 2 anesthesia with sevoflurane. In both anesthesia groups, body temperature fell below physiological values, reducing the number of breaths to physiological limits. The detection of hematocrit levels below the physiological limits during the use of both anesthetic agents was not statistically significant either. It has been determined that hematological and biochemical values of both anesthetic agents are not adversely affected Key words: Propofol, Isofuran, Sevoflurane, Orthopedic surgery, Dog
