While 52.7% (n=97) of the patients found the training they received sufficient. It was determined that the total mean score of the PLNS for the level of importance of the learning needs of the patients was 190.28±10.83 (3.81±0.07; very important). In addition, it was observed that "treatment and complications" (37.47±2.21) and "life activities" (35.53±2.71) sub-dimensions scores' were higher. It has been determined that PLNS-NMS is evaluated as "somewhat met" with a score of 2.91 in the total scale, and the participants were partially satisfied with the education they received in the Discharge Education Satisfaction Scale mean score (74.09±3.83).
