A research on the leather time activities of individuals with orthopedic disabled: The case of Bingol

This study focuses on the leisure activities of individuals with orthopedic disabilities. In this study, designed using a qualitative research method, in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 individuals with orthopedic disabilities living in the Bingöl province. The study addresses themes such as the leisure perception of individuals with orthopedic disabilities, the diversity and preferences of leisure activities, the influence of family in leisure time utilization, and themes like leisure and social exclusion. As a result of the research, it was found that individuals with orthopedic disabilities face certain challenges when evaluating their leisure activities. These challenges were identified as social exclusion, accessibility in public spaces, dependency on another individual, and negative perceptions directed towards them.
