Özet (EN)

Although codification and commentary approach of its era, Kâfiyeci, who lived in 15. century, shows an innovative approach with self-confidence of his methodical background which harmonises the past with knowledge of its era.He addresses the responsibilities of human being, considering the concept of ?soul?, which is one of the most fundemantal subjects of philosophy, with his unique approach attributing ontological unity of human being and then philosophy of ethics. In this context, he analyzes the concept of ?berzah? considering it from disciplinal aspect. He offer a new methodology on the concept of ?soul? and ?berzah?. He analyzes ?berzah? as a unique scientific branch and names this approach as ?Science of Berzah?.It worths here mentioning on his interest in knowledge theory. It is one of the reasons why we emphasize his scholarship of ontology and knowledge theory. He states that ?apocalypse?, ?prophecy? and ?dream? are source of knowledge in terms of knowledge theory. He also adds the concept of ?meditation? to them.Another salient side of Kâfiyeci is his moralist approach. He gives importance to applied morality, thinks that morality is unimportant without practice and draws attention to personal and social aspects of it.It can be argued that philosophical views of Kâfiyeci have some similarities with the views of Gazali and Islamic mysticism.
