Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to evaluate the Ottoman period in terms of the history of Arabic Literature based on the works of Îd Fathi, Ömer Mûsâ Bâşâ and Muhammed Seyyid Kîlânî. These three authors reject the claims of many writers that the Ottoman period was the most vicious and stagnant period of Arab literature and emphasized that the period was deliberately neglected by researchers. In this study, the works of these authors were examined in detail and subjected to evaluation. Contemporary Arabic Literature researchers; The result of the works of Fethid Fethi, Ömer Mûsâ Bâşâ and Muhammed Seyyid Kîlânî is that the period when the Ottoman Empire was dominant was a productive period in areas such as religion, literature and history.
