Abstract (EN)
This study focuses on the Ramadan culture and Ramadan tables in Ottaman İstanbul. Throughout our study, mainly domestic memories were used; besides, especially the memories of foreign travelers' memoirs and Works on the subject werw also used. Our study consists of four chapters and it mention the place and importance of Ramazan in the Ottoman empire. Additionally, various activities during Ramadan, special preparations fort his holy month, crescent issue, Ramadan entertainments, Ramadan tables and Ramadan feast is decribed. Throughout the study, it has been tried to explain the Ramadan culture in the Turks at all points.
