Abstract (EN)
There are discussions about Ottoman heritage in foreign policy since 1990's. There appeared Turgut Özal as main actor and Bosnian War as main cause. Ottoman heritage based approaches had rised through the wave of liberalism and they have idealistic points. They had been argued as the key to pass the status-quo and to find new domains in foreign policy. Second period of Ottoman heritage vision had been supported by AK Party who had came to power in 2000's. It is seen two typology of Ottomanist approaches as liberal or İslamic. The color between them is not seen at Bosnian War but the distinction had shown dominantly at Syrian War. Keywords: Ozal, Bosnian War, Davutoglu, Syrian War
