Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the microstructure and mechanical properties varying from the austempering parameters Austempered Ductile Irons (ADI) and Magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) between non-destructive inspection methods. For this purpose, alloy ductile iron samples are produced by the sand-casting molding method in the form of the block casting parts and the samples of tensile samples with these Y blocks are made. Ductile iron tensile samples were austenitized at 900 °C for 60 min following by austempered at 325 °C, 350 °C, 375 °C and 400 °C for 45 min, 60 min, 90 min, 120 min, and 180 min. Microstructural characterization of the samples, optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM), micro-structure phases and the volume fraction of phases were carried out with electron-back scattering and diffraction (EBSD) analysis. The change in mechanical properties has been determined by pulling and hardness experiments. The relationship between ADI samples, austempering parameters and mechanical properties Magnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) was examined by non-destructive examination method. After austempering, the correlations between these values were determined by using multiple linear regression analysis in determining the relations between MBN signal values and the microstructural properties of austempering samples and the mechanical properties are determined by using multiple linear regression analysis and how to use the R-square values for each value and calculating the R-square values for each value. They are determined that they are correlated. The MBN signal values are determined whether it has been determined or not to change on the above-mentioned parameters of the MBN signal values.
