Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is tried to put the relationship between training andorganizational commitment and the sub-dimensions of it, which are emotional,continuance and normative commitments, for consideration. Whether the organizationalcommitment and the sub-dimensions vary in sex, age, both the experience in the fieldand in the organization, education level, where he/she got the training, whichdepartment he/she has worked and the in-service training he/she has had before are alsoinvestigated.The Belek Region constitutes the practical context of the study. The five-starthotels in Belek Region constitute the basic of the application. This study has also takena group as model as several obstacles had been encountered when extending to allapplication grounds. The results obtained by preferance of Belek region are applicableto the whole country. Because of the bed capacity and the number of hotels theagglomeration is high. These conditions maket he region important regarding Turkish,European and Word tourism.?The Organizational Competence Scale?, which was improved by Allen andMeyer (1990), revised by Allen, Meyer and Smith again (1993), and which was used bymany researchers in Turkey (Gürkan, 2006; Boylu, Güçer and Pelit, 2007; Gül andOktay, 2003; Özdevecioğlu, 2003; Baysal and Paksoy, 1999; Uyguç and Çımrın,2004), has been used in this research.Within this research, a survey has been conducted to the hotel staff. The dataattained has been entered into the database of the SPSS program and t-test, Anova, andhas been used to determine what level the relationship of the training and organizationalcompetence is. The reliability of the study has been analyzed according to the CronbachAlpha method and it is seen that the measurement used is highly reliable (?=8041).The frequency-percentage values, standard deviation and the arithmetic mean ofthe answers given by the personnel included in the research has been determined at theend of the study. A meaningful relation has been identified between training and theorganizational commitment and the sub-dimensions: sex, age, both the experience in thefield and in the organization education level, where he/she got the training, whichdepartment he/she has worked and the in-service training he/she has had before.
