Working in hospitality and tourism vocational high school teachers' understanding of total quality management

In this study, the Ministry of National Education, the central, provincial and overseas organizations connected with the activities carried out in schools and institutions 'Total Quality Management' approach in a format compatible with the principles and procedures for the conduct of the feasibility, scope of applications in the hospitality and tourism vocational high schools are evaluated. The main objective of the study hospitality and tourism vocational high schools implemented total quality management (TQM) in accordance with the opinions of teachers to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. TQM practices, which is to assess the applicability of the hospitality and tourism vocational high schools, this study used a descriptive model of self-transfer. The study was conducted using the questionnaire technique on teachers. The study population consisted of the teachers who work in the hospitality and tourism vocational high schools. Population of the study during the 2010-2011 academic According to statistics from the General Directorate of Commerce and Tourism Education 2,658 respectively. Determined in accordance with the appropriate sampling method to collect data from a questionnaire by e-mail sent to teachers in schools replicated a coordinator and return with a cargo of 397 provided on the data obtained from the survey were analyzed with the program package. Analysis of data and information security analysis, t-test, ANOVA, analysis of variance was used. As a result of the application of the problems and their solutions are described. The findings of the study, requested by the Ministry of Education show that certain problems related to the realization of TQM practices. Teachers on the implementation of TQM stated that some of the deficiencies and defects. Implementation of school improvement plans required by the Ministry of work, especially the implementation of TQM, reviewing and evaluating the corrected and final evaluation of the implementation of the school development plan, which is important for the preparation of reports of recent studies done takes less emphasized. As a result, the implementation of total quality management studies were performed in the hospitality and tourism vocational high schools.
