Abstract (EN)

With the advancement of technology in the automotive sector, vehicle users' expectations of comfort from the vehicle are increasing. In addition to ergonomic comfort, drivers also pay attention to thermal comfort. In hot and cold weather, the vehicle is in contact with the human body at the time of driving, such as the seat and steering wheel, and the interior trim temperatures of the vehicle affect the thermal comfort. Thesis subject; With the innovative air-ducted seat design for automobiles, it is to carry out a ventilation ducted seat design and prototype manufacturing that will ensure driver and passenger comfort by keeping the seat surface temperature in the vehicle within a certain range. In this context, it is planned to install an electric motor fan in order to reduce the contact surfaces to a certain temperature, especially in hot weather, in order to meet the need for comfort in the cushion and back areas in summer and winter conditions. For this purpose, the HAD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) model was developed with the help of Ansys Fluent and the final design was obtained in order to investigate the effect of the design results on the temperature distribution by controlling the temperature distribution by carrying out tests taking into account the international norms. In addition, experimental results and numerical model results were compared and evaluated. At the same time, the test is aimed to be verified by performing CFD analysis.
