Technological trends in automotive industry and technical analysis

The automotive sector, which has been developing since its inception, has reached the threshold of a major change in the current century and entered into a faster development process. Particularly in the recent period due to increasing environmental and cost concerns, the sector has tended to switch to hybrid or fully electric powertrain systems and accordingly, different mobility solutions have been brought to the agenda and innovative vehicle ownership models have started to be introduced. In particular, major changes in the powertrain of the vehicles encourage rapid research and development of sub-components, and require sharing of knowledge and experience across sectors. In this thesis, by dwelling on the titles on which the sector focuses; the points such as current challenges, proposed solutions, technological developments and predictions for the future were discussed.
