Abstract (EN)
With the increase in the human population, the number of people's own personal vehicles and the number of vehicles used in public transportation increase in direct proportion. The increase in traffic density makes life difficult for people, especially in cities with high population density. In daily life, almost every individual has work, school, trip, etc. For these reasons, transportation is an important part of their daily life. In the field of transportation, efficient and high-quality new ways are being made to reduce the time lost by individuals in transportation, traffic accidents, consumed fuel and harmful gas emissions. New roads that are needed are not only designed with concrete and steel infrastructure, but also equipped with smart transportation system infrastructure. Some of the studies are mostly carried out on highways that provide fast and safe travel in intercity transportation. Highways are highways where vehicles travel at high speeds and traffic flow must be ensured even if the traffic is heavy. In our country; It keeps up with the era it is in in the transportation sector and builds modern highways. Fast, reliable, comfortable and smart highways are built in areas with high traffic volume. In our country, smart transportation systems are implemented on highways within the scope of highway transportation projects. In this study, smart transportation systems applications of Ankara-Niğde Highway and Northern Marmara Highway, which have been completed in our country, were examined. Highways were compared among themselves in terms of smart transportation systems. AHP, TOPSIS and ELECTRE from MCDM methods were used in the decision making phase. In order to weight the criteria that make up the smart transportation systems, firstly, the AHP method was applied. As a result of the results found, it is aimed to make a comparative analysis with the TOPSIS and ELECTRE methods, and to choose the most suitable one among the alternatives.
