The game theory and sectoral an application in İMKB

The game Theory that provides us an optimum decision option in such a position an interaction decision is given, takes place more often both in our daily life and business life. The interest in this issue is increasing when the consistency between the results of the application and application territory is seen. It will be seen that we come close to aperiod that theory will be used more often.Game Theory is a main approach to decision under risk and uncertainity. Game theory gives us the aswer of the question ?what the optimal strategy must be fort he invester?. The Game Theory gives us the optimal strategy as a maximum profit or minimum loses for each invester.Although developed in 1920s, today Game Theory has been widely applied to every field where mutual interaction in decision making process in concerned. İt has been an indispensable tool for many disciplines from economics to politics, management to biology, international relations to law.In this study it is dwelled on the general concepts and hypothesis, mathematical fundamentals and general solution methods of the Game Theory that answers the question of what the optimum behaviour should be in a competition and/or conflict. A practise has been made in Istanbul Stock Exchange. This practise consists of ?2 person zero sum game? one of them is n ?1 player who makes investments in stock exchange and the other playes is the one who wants to make investment in stock exchange. By the game theory an idea is wanted to be given for an investor in order to which of the sector/sectors' financial shares of IMKB should be bought.Key Words: Game Theory, Strategy, Nash Equilibrium, İMKB
