Abstract (EN)

2. ABSTRACT Effects of Regular Specific Plyometric Training on Anaerobic Power of Young Soccer Players This study was performed to determine the effects of plyometric type exercise program on amateur soccer players (aged 16-18) anaerobic power. For this purpose, 17 voluntary soccer players who playing soccer in amateur league in Elazığ were selected as a plyometric subject group. 17 soccer player belong the none of another team in Elazığ doing rutine soccer training, were constituted as a control group. And 17 sedanter voluntary high school students were measured as other control group. Clasic soccer training and plus plyometric training were performed to subject group in 3 month periods, 2 days a week for 30-40 minutes in one period. Pretest and posttest were performed in 3 month periods to subjects to determine the height, weighth, percent body fat, tight and calf diameter, Wingate, Margaria Klamen, Vertical jump and long jump anaerobic power, 50 Yard sprint and dynometric leg strengt of all subjects. «sssssftsffTo determine the differences in groups One Way Anova, Post Hoc and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test and dicriptive statistics were used with SPSS pocket program and 0,05- 0,01 confidence level were used in the statistical evalation. According to the findings, following result were found : The mean ages was 17,29 ±0,85 for plyometric group, 1 7,24 ± 0,75 for only soccer group and 16,47± 0,51 for sedantary group. The mean height at the and of 3 month periods there was 1,79 cm. increase in plyometric groups (173,1 1 ±5,39- 174,89± 5,30). There was significantly increase body weight in plyometric group (62,1 8 ± 5,42 - 63,06 ± 5,38) but decrease in percent body fat (10,78±0,83; 10,29±0,65) (P<0.01). According to Margaria Klamen, Wingate and Vertical jump power tests, plyometric groups showed significantly development than other soccer group similarly, plyometric group showed significant increase than other group. Paralelly to this results, in the leg diameters measurements, there was significant and higher increase in plyometric group (P<0, 01). Consequently, It can be said that; plyometric training was changed and effected the leg strength, anaerobic powers and body compositions of young players positively. Key Words : Plyometric, Soccer, Anaerobic Power. XI
