Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is investigation of the relationship between mothers with children who need special education and their children, depression levels and personality traits. In the study, the Relationship of Mothers with Children Scale, Eysenck Personality Inventory, Beck Depression Scale and demographic information form were used. 100 normal children and 100 mothers with disabilities participated in the survey. In the research findings, for mothers with normal children, there was a moderately positive relationship between children's relationship scale and scale scores, a moderate inverse relationship between children's relationship scale and Beck depression index scores, and a strong inverse relationship between personality traits and Beck depression index. It was determined. For mothers with disabled children, there was a strong positive relationship between the relationship with children and personality trait scores, a strong inverse relationship between the relationship with children and Beck depression index scores, and a strong inverse relationship between the personality traits and Beck depression index. Depression levels of mothers with children who need special education and mothers with normal children differ. Depression levels of mothers with children who need special education and mothers with normal children affect children. In this study, mothers' relationship with their children scale scores, personality traits scale scores and depression scale scores, non-parametric test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, Mann Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis test were used.
