Abstract (EN)
The objective of this dissertation is to specify the burnout and job satisfaction levels of private and public hospital nurses and make a comparison between them. A quantitative research methodology was used in the study. In the context of the purpose of the study, a survey was applied to 259 nurses who have worked in 2 public and 5 private hospitals in Antalya region. According to the findings of hypothesis testing, there is a statistically significant difference between public and private hospital nurses in terms of emotional exhaustion, personal accomplishment, internal, external and general job satisfaction levels. However, there seems to be no difference between two groups of nurses in terms of depersonalization which is a suc dimension of burnout.
