Abstract (EN)

This study investigated the effectiveness of the Bullying Psychoeducation Program (DİS-ZOP), which was developed for middle school students diagnosed with special learning disabilities, on the bullying and victimization levels of middle school students diagnosed with special learning disabilities. Pre-test, post-test, follow-up quasi-experimental design was used in the study. The research group consisted of 16 students diagnosed with specific learning disabilities who were continuing their education in 5-6-7-8th grades. Eight of the students in the research group were assigned to the experimental group and eight to the control group. The experimental group received 8 sessions of DIS-ZOP, one session per week, administered by the researcher. Peer Bullying Identification Scale (Adolescent Form) and Personal Information Form were used as data collection instruments. Mann Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test were used to determine the effect of DIS-ZOP applied to the experimental group. As a result of the study, it was found that DIS-ZOP was effective in reducing bullying and victimization among middle school students diagnosed with specific learning disabilities. The findings were discussed in the context of the relevant literature and recommendations were made.
