Abstract (EN)
Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction and motivation of coaches working in the private sector. Methods: The research was carried out with the quantitative method within the scientific methods. It is in the general screening model based on quantitative data and in the relational screening model. The research population consists of coaches working in the private sector in the Eastern Anatolia Region. The sample consists of a total of 202 coaches working in the private sector, 87 women and 115 men actively working in Erzurum. The research consisted of three parts. In the first part, there will be a personal information form such as gender, age, marital status, educational status, economic level, region of work, how many months you have been working as a coach working in the private sector and do you have difficulty in finding athletes. The second part is the "Job Satisfaction Scale" and the third part is the "Adult Motivation Scale". The data were reported with the SPSS analysis program. Parametric tests were applied because the data had a normal distribution. The significance level was determined as p<0.05. Finally, Pearson Correlation analysis was applied to determine the relationship between the Job Satisfaction scale values and the Adult Motivation Scale values of IMS members. Results: It was observed that there was no statistically significant difference in the mean value of job satisfaction according to the educational status of the participants. However, it is seen that there is a statistically significant difference between the adult motivation subtotal score value and the extrinsic motivation sub-dimension, which is one of the adult motivation sub-dimension values. Conclusion: At the end of this study, in which 202 people participated, it was found that there was a significant and negative relationship between Job Satisfaction and Adult Motivations. In other words, as the Job Satisfaction level of the participants increases, the Adult Motivation levels decrease.
