The comparision of the trait anger - anger expression styles of the teacher candidates who study university by special ability / university passing exam

The aim of this study was to compare of the trait anger ? anger expression styles of the students who study university by special ability / university passing exam. In pursuing of this goal, The State Trait Anger Scale (STAS) were administered to 240 undergraduates, which were students at the Abant Izzet Baysal University. Data have been analysed by using SPSS Windows packet programme. Multivariate Variance Analyse (MANOVA) and One Way Variance Analyse (ANOVA) have been carried out on these data. According to results, there was not any significant difference between gender and anger subscales also there was not significant difference between gender and exam type?s common impact on anger subscales (p < .05). When we looked at common impact of gender and education department on anger subscales there was not significant difference too. As a result of relation results between students? departments and anger subscales has found significant differences (p < .01). However, within anger subscales, Physical Education and Mathematics Teaching Departments? students? got meaningful high level scores on trait anger level.
