Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study was to determine the effects of playing games on physical and emotional health by excessive usage of mobile. The study includes 385 participants (212F,173M;) from Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan. In this study IPAQ, Aggression and smartphone addiction short version questionnaire were used. According to the results 26.8% found that their work missed due to excess usage of mobile phone, 19.2% strongly agreed that they had very tough to concentrate in class, 24.2% felt strain in wrist and neck region while 15.8% strongly agreed that they could not do any work without having smartphone. On the other hand, 22.6% strongly agreed that their mood change without smartphone, 17.1% strongly agreed that they still thought about mobile while holding in hands, 24.2% strongly agreed that they scroll their mobile again and again not to overlook gossips while on the other hand 218(56.2%) were too energetic. The study gives knowledge to people to decrease in mobile gaming time and aggression thus increase their physical activity.
