Investigations of the effects of insecticides used for early period pests on beneficial insects in cotton

Imidacloprid + Beta cyfluthrin, Dimethoate and Azadirachtin effective insecticides had used against pests insect (Thrips, Aphidis and Leafhoppers) in early growing stage of cotton area and the efects of insecticides on both beneficial (Chrysopid, Coccinellid and Nabis) and pest insects were investigated. Azadirachtin showed the least toxic effect on beneficial and pest insects (aphis spp. ve Thrips spp.) the among the used insectists. Imidacloprid + Beta cyfluthrin and Dimethoate have showed similar effects on beneficial insects. It has been determined that insectists have no effect on reducing levels of pest insect populations, but population levels of pest insects in insecticide treated plots were usually lower than untreated plots. In study, it has been observed that used insectists have a restrictive effect on the growth of beneficial and pest insect populations.
