Abstract (EN)
The present study focuses on different growth models. It is demonstrated how a mathematical definition of growth can be used to explain decreases in yield, to compare growth rates, to make comparisons between different species and within species, and to predict future increases. The types of growth strategies in living organisms make it difficult to explain these processes with simple curves. Therefore, different growth models are discussed in detail and examined in depth. The study focuses on the specific patterns of growth, experimental growth curves, growth theories and mechanistic models, and some important criteria in choosing the appropriate growth model are discussed.
