Özet (EN)
In this study, it was investigated how to shorten the die design processes in the automotive sector and increase the design quality in this process. In order to shorten the die design processes, it was determined that using Catia program which is one of the computer aided design programs, creating parametric sets, shortening the design times, avoiding design errors and most importantly, the die designs can be updated quickly. In today's world, the rapidly developing automotive sector offers its products to consumers with dozens of new models. In this regard the rapidly developing automotiv sector in Turkey, the 1.000.0000 Total production units / year has brought on. On the one hand, the automotive sector is developing and on the other hand, the mold sector is developing rapidly both in the world and in our country. Aggressive forms, sharp lines, and new generation materials that have emerged with the newly produced automobile models are pushing the mold sector day by day. Moreover, given the increasing competition conditions, both quality expectations and time pressure have negative effects on the mold manufacturers. In order to overcome these problems, the use of computer-aided design programs, which have been widely used since the 1990s and in Turkey since the beginning of the 2000s, has become widespread throughout the world. In the automotive industry of Turkey, when looking at the CAD programs used in the mold design of sheet metal parts and trim parts, Catia V5, NX-Siemens, Pro-Engineer, Solidworks, Top Solid etc. We see that. When the mold sector is examined, it is known that it is in search of improving the design processes. When we look at the quality of the studies to improve these processes, some deficiencies were observed. In this study, some improvements on the concept of Parametric Mold Design, which will be able to edit our mold design in 2D sketch environment by managing the lines and points quickly and enable these changes to be updated in 3D environment, have been discussed. In this study, development proposals for rapid modeling of mold standard parts, main industrial casting and steel construction mechanical standards are presented with parametric design method in mold design and applications.
