Abstract (EN)
The aim of this work to investigate the methods of parametric and non-parametric simple linear regression calculus by comparing them. The methods of Mood Brown and Theil, which is least square methods for parametric simple linear regression calculus and parameter estimate according to median for non-parametric simple linear regression calculus, was introduced. It was also introduced the estimate method of non-parametric simple linear regression function and the nearest neighborhood estimate methods (k-NN).We investigate the question ?Are there any linear relations between age and weight of born? using parametric and non-parametric simple linear regression methods. In parametric case, there are no linear relations between them but in non-parametric case, it is obtained a relation from Mood-Brown and k-NN methods. On the other hand it isn?t obtained any relation from Theil methods.
