Abstract (EN)
The authors studied by the change of chemical composition in stainless steels, differentcharacteritic alloys are formed. The corrosion resistance is increased by the increase theamount of Cr or adding Ni and Mo. Cu, Ti, Al, Si, Ni, Na, S and Se support good effects forthe alloys. So the manufacturers easily select the material. In stainless steel Cr, Ni, Mo and Na is important for the structure of material. First of all Crand Ni support the structure, ferritic or austenitic. Stainless steels can be classified into threecategories, martensitic, ferritic and austenitic. The strength and contipation of stainless steelsare increased by the cold forming so the decrease of thickness and weight will beeconomic.High strength is supported for some groups of steels by heat threatment. In this thesis, the process and forming characteristics which control forming of stainlesssteels, are discussed. In last part, thickness and rolling direction parameters acts to the formability of stainless steelsheets is determined by tensile tests and bending tests. Keywords: Stainless steel sheets, mechanical and metalurgical characteristics, formingcharacteristics, mechanical tests.
