Abstract (EN)
In this study, the changes in the mean particle size distribution of the mass obtained as a result of blasting activities depending on the existing rock mass properties and blasting design parameters were investigated. The study consists of three basic stages. In the first stage, at the raw material sites of Adana Çimento Türk Inc. Çaldağı and Soda Sanayi Inc. Karadiken were investigated, the block size of the analyzed beats was determined by WipJoint software and fragment size distribution of the post-blast mass was determined by WipFrag software. In the second stage, laboratory experiments were conducted to determine the properties of the rocks taken from each shot. Finally, the relationship between mean particle size and rock properties and blasting parameters were evaluated by regression analysis. This result of these analyzes, it was determined that there was a statistical relationship between the mean particle size and the physical and mechanical properties of the rocks. At the end of the study, one way variance analysis (ANOVA) was used to define the effective blasting zones by using regional changes and fragmentation index in the study areas.
