Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to understand and compare the basic issues in painting education by Paul Klee and Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's ideas. This research analyzes the ideas about under the headings of creativity, color, composition, form, line, light and shadow and art education by using their lecture notes, articles, newspapers and magazine writings. From this perspective, a relevant questionnaire study was applied to 1st and 4th grade students who were attending as a full time at Abant Izzet Baysal University, Faculty of Education in Painting. Paul Klee and Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's ideas aimed to form a reference source in the direction of the data obtained with this research, especially for the art students and educators. Klee and Eyüboğlu, who continued their activities in two different geographical regions, their opinions are very similar to each other. There are valuable ideas for the development of today's and future art and art education. Through the questions in the survey, in line with the theoretical backgrounds of the students in the general art education, Paul Klee and Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's ideas, the students' knowledge levels and related information about this subject, gender, age, according to the art education they have taken before and the level of education they have studied, and then the results were analyzed by computer analysis. Through with these results, proposals for educators and students in institutions providing art education, especially at academic level, have been prepared.
