Abstract (EN)

It is well-known that we are witnessing the rise of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), which is one of the best arguments in transportation solutions in recent years. ITS, which is one of the most interesting and open to development areas all over the world, is now seen and accepted as a sector. In ITS, which has a wide application range, shared mobility solutions have attracted the attention of everyone, especially during the pandemic period. In this thesis, a research and systematic review on shared mobility, which has been mentioned a lot, has been conducted. Firstly, a general framework has been drawn about the definition, components, history, application areas, benefits, economy and future of ITSs in the world and in our country. Then, in the ITS architecture section, interoperability, the structure and components of the architecture, EU and US ITS architecture and studies on this subject in Turkey are mentioned. In the section of shared mobility, the connection with the ITS architecture is revealed and the main applications such as car sharing, ride sharing, bike sharing, scooter sharing and the MaaS (Mobility as a Service) solution that includes these applications are evaluated. Then, examples of shared mobility from the European Union, North America, Asia and Turkey are given with visuals and numerical data on the subject. In the penultimate title, the effect of shared mobility on new generation transportation preferences is explained. After giving information about the subject in general terms, assessments and inferences were made. In addition, since it is one of the most open areas for development in our country, some suggestions have been presented based on the results.
