Scope of beijing olympics, the sculpture of a public space application "Confusion of Prism"

In 2004, the sculpture, named "The Confusion of the Prism", I have produced during the bachelor's degree was applied as one of the "100 Olympic Sculptures" in Olympic Village Park public sphere, Pekin, in large scale in 2008. In 2005, the contest, in which artists and designers were called for participation, was concluded in 2007.In the thesis of qualification in the art of the sculpture, named "The Confusion of the Prism", which explains how it was chosen for Pekin Olympic Village and the period of application, for the reader to understand better the contest which concluded in Pekin in 2008 and the application on "The Confusion of the Prism" as a public space sculpture, in the first chapter, the explanation of the public sphere in modern society theories and the concept of public sphere sculpture after modernism, in the second chapter, examples of application on the modern public sphere sculpture from Chinese Cultural Revolution up today, the application of public sphere sculptures with modern qualifications by artists from different cultures for cultural interaction, the experience of cooperative studies that local authorities, artists' associations and art academies performed is given as the content. In the third chapter, explanations for the form and the content of the sculpture "The Confusion of the Prism", produced in 2004, its interpretation for public sphere, the images of the application period and in the appendix, selected images from the scuptures placed in Olympic Park are presented.
