Enterprises take different steps to survive in the intense competition environment today. Enterprises desiring to create difference against their competitors attach importance to human relations and increase the satisfaction level of their employees and aim to get the highest efficiency from them. One of the concepts emphasized most by the enterprises desiring their employees to work with higher performance in recent years is the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is generally described as the attitude of employees towards their jobs. Employees start to work at the enterprise to achieve their aims such as economic, social, etc. Various questionnaires are applied to measure the job satisfaction of the employee and results obtained direct the human resources policies. As the expectations and requirements of the employees are satisfied, it is observed that they develop more positive attitude towards their jobs. The performance is the concept relating to the results of the employee for the job. As the job satisfaction of the employee increases, their dedication to the job increases and it is expected that their performance will increase as a natural result of this process. Many researches show that there is a positive correlation between the job satisfaction and performance of the employee.Within the scope of study, a positive relation was seen between the job satisfaction and performance evaluation of the employees in the research findings. In addition to the conclusion that the job satisfaction is affected by the demographic factors, factors affecting the job satisfaction are emphasized and it is seen that job satisfaction is affected by mutual variables as salary or award determined according to performance evaluation results and knowledge, skill, friend relationship, corporate perception and relationship with supervisors.Enterprises desiring to increase the job satisfaction of the employees should determine the requirements of employees accurately first of all and meet these requirements of the employees. For the relationships with supervisors and other colleagues to be satisfying, in-house communication should be seen as important and moreover, performance evaluation results should be taken as the basis for decisions about salary and awarding between employees and a fairer structure should be created in the enterprise.Key Words: Job Satisfaction, Performance, Performance Evaluation
