Abstract (EN)
Hospitals are the most important institutions involved in the health sevices. Health services provided in hospitals require knowledge and medical technology. This necessitates different professional groups' coordinated work. Increasing expectations of patients to health services, coming into prominence of patient satisfaction necessitate hospitals topresent health services effective, efficient, fast, high quality and responding to society's expectations. Performance is the level of predetermined criteria to be met by staff, which is suitable for he organizations planned activities to achieve their goals. All institutions without distinction between private and public institutions want their staff to be able to show high performance and reach their goals. For this purpose they use a performance evaluation method based on objective criteria, reliable and suitable for corporate structures. For this purpose the Ministry of Health has implemented Supplementary Payment System Based On Performance to measure the performance of the staff and give additional charges based on the performance. Supplementary Payment System Based On Performance is implemented for effective, efficient service to hospitals, raising of patient satisfaction and effective use of resources. The purpose of this research is that hospital staff is to evaluate this system and develop recommendations for the system.
